"New" sports card shop opening two blocks from my house:
I have never lived so close to a card shop in my life. Figures it would happen after the increased prices and decreased quality turned me off of new products, likely for good. Hopefully they'll have some nice vintage singles and supplies.
Pack Wars is going to be insane here; I have no idea where 20-30 cars are going to park. Not something I'll have to worry about though..

Nice. The closest my LCS was is a mile and a half. Way back in its early days. Over the years it has moved a few times and I have moved once in that time and now it is about 4 miles from me.

ReplyDeleteHad you been to that shop before they moved? If not, maybe they'll surprise you. Allegedly there's still some good shops around, so, fingers crossed!
I shopped at their old place a long time ago. 2008-09 or so.

ReplyDeleteI'm about a KM away from my nearest LCS.. My only LCS.. But it's not overly mobility accessible.. I had issues getting into the store with my wheelchair since there is a lip from the sidewalk to the doorway.. And the sidewalk is sinking there.. Plus, no automatic door opener..

I've heard about this place in the area, but never been. Hope the shop is good!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! My LCS is a little under 15 miles from my door step. If it was only two blocks, I'd definitely visit more frequently and give them more business. Hope the owners and employees are cool.
